Verona wins the Bottagisio sports center, the former home of Chievo, for 3 million. Hellas invests in the youth sector, with the goal of creating a center of excellence for young footballers. The Bottagisio center, which will host eleven teams between Under 9 and Primavera, plus the football school, was acquired by Hellas after a 25-minute auction. Hellas president Maurizio Setti commented on the purchase, highlighting the importance of the investment for the youth sector. The Bottagisio center has a rich history, having been the historic field of Chievo, which settled there in the second half of the 1950s. Chievo built its rise to professionalism, up to the C2 conquered in 1986, right at the Bottagisio. Now, Hellas plans to use the center to create a center of excellence for young footballers. The total investment for the purchase and renovation of the center is around 5 million, with 1.8 million destined for restoration work. Vigasio, the company of Cristian Zaffani, had also participated in the auction, but in the end it was Hellas that won. The Bottagisio center will now be the home of Verona's youth teams, with the goal of creating a bright future for the club. The acquisition is a significant step for Verona, which aims to strengthen its youth sector and create a competitive team. With the Bottagisio center, Verona will have a state-of-the-art facility to train its young players and prepare them for the future. The club's investment in the youth sector is a testament to its commitment to developing young talent and creating a successful team.
