Tough days for commuters and travelers of Trenitalia Gruppo FS. Today and tomorrow, Thursday 4 June, the railway circulation between Verona and Venice is affected by important changes due to extraordinary maintenance and infrastructure enhancement works planned by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana. The 'x' hour to mark: within the Verona Porta Nuova station is from 10:10 to 12:30, and between Padova and Venice Mestre from 09:40 to 12:45. Changes that will cause a drastic reprogramming of the schedule. In fact, the trains of the Verona Porta Nuova – Verona Porta Vescovo route will undergo schedule variations compared to the planned or partial cancellations; while the trains of the Padova – Venice Mestre route will be canceled. Heavy impacts are also expected for the Frecciarossa from and to Salerno and Turin, Udine and Trieste and for the EuroCity from Geneva. To ensure journey continuity, Trenitalia has set up a bus replacement service between Padova and Venice: they will stop at the station forecourts. Delays due to road traffic are not excluded.
