Hellas Verona FC recently received a significant recognition at the Grassroots Awards 2025/26, awarded for the best school football development project. The ceremony took place on June 12, 2026, at the 'Luigi Ridolfi' Federal Technical Center in Coverciano, attended by prominent figures from the football world. The 'Play with Your Class Hellas Verona' project demonstrated a significant impact, involving 136 schools in Verona and its province. In the last season alone, over 10,500 students actively participated, thanks to the commitment of instructors and club athletes. This program not only promotes football but also serves as an educational and inclusive tool. The award was presented to Zaccaria Tommasi, Head of the Women's Technical Area of Hellas Verona, by Valter Bedin, regional SGS coordinator for Veneto. The concluding event at the Bentegodi Stadium continues to attract thousands of people, highlighting the importance of collaboration between school and sport. 'Play with Your Class' represents a virtuous model for the personal growth of young people through sports activities.
